Podcasts not showing up on Podcast section of iPod

A few weeks ago when I got my new computer and moved my all my audio to my new computer I had one problem with my Ipod. None of the Pod Casts were showing in the Pod Cast section on the iPod, they were being synced to the device and I could play them if I found the file among the 7000 other files. I checked the preferences and make sure every thing said sync and update Pod Casts but nothing seemed to work finally did some Google searches and found a little help, I say a little because the instructions I found were not so clear. So here is how you get you Pod Casts back.

  1. Connect iPod and start iTunes.
  2. Click on you iPod in the list on the right side.
  3. Locate the tabs at the top of the main window, select Pod Casts.
  4. Click on the sync check box.
  5. Sync you iPod.

why on earth was this not on by default haha. My apple products have been causing me more grief rather than being helpful. podcasts so simple now thanks.
